Company Background

Launched in Spring of 2010, Santa Barbara-based Kidzmet.com weaves together kids’ multiple intelligences, personality types and learning styles to help teachers and parents understand students’ learning preferences so that they can create learning experiences and environments that are as inspiring, engaging and effective as possible for each unique child.

Kidzmet’s Classroom and Campus Accounts help teachers differentiate instruction for their current class mix; segment more compatible breakout groups; and place students with the optimal teachers for the school year.

Kidzmet has won awards from numerous independent parent and teacher organizations for the quality of their profiles and content.

Founder Bio

Jen Lilienstein leads the Kidzmet team, with 15+ years of experience in marketing, advertising and product development for some of America’s most recognizable brands. Jen’s passion for non-traditional education was sparked while completing her undergraduate senior thesis on Howard Gardner’s theory of Multiple Intelligence and its effect on self-esteem, attendance rates and love of learning in 1994.

At home, Jen is Mom to an extroverted daughter—who loves to dabble in acting, music, swimming, and photography—and an introverted son with a passion for nature, cars, and engineering.
