I don’t know how it is in your house, but at our house, getting something in the snail mail box is always a thrill for my kids. I must admit, I was the same way when I was young. I even had a Japanese pen pal and we would compare notes about life in the U.S. versus life in Japan.
I came across Little Passports the other day and thought it was a great way to get kids excited about other cultures. From geography to history…culture to language. These pen pals send an educational care package once a month that’s been designed for elementary aged kids.
Filled with souvenirs, activity sheets, arts & crafts projects, stickers, postcards, photos from the country, map markers, etc…and access to even more online games and activities.
Little Passports has earned its place as this week’s Kidzmet Educational Product Pick for an exciting way to stretch your child’s “people smarts” into cultures around the world.
But don’t just take our word for it…check out all the other folks who love this global adventure for kids. They even won an iParenting Media award!
